News at last! At the moment I'm working on a soundtrack for the short horror film "Blaze of Gory" for Mitsuko Studios and pretending I know how to use a Korg MS-20 synthesiser I've just bought from Red Dog Music in Edinburgh.
The new album is almost done, vocals need tweaking and I've dropped another track that I just couldn't get happy with, some voice over sections have been added and hopefully at the end of the month I will be going back up to Edinburgh to master the album with Ghostsmut (who also mastered the first album Ambients).
At the weekend I wrote up ideas for the music videos for the album (no singles per say but we are hopefully having videos for some stand out tracks), I've discussed two of these videos with Ian Lawlor at 12 Foot Beast Productions (who has done all my other videos as he's mint) and I'm discussing two digitally rendered CG videos with Ryan McKindle of Pathogen Pictures. All early days still but hopefully these videos will come out really good!
Hope you're all well, eat a biscuit. Unless you're allergic, then just have an apple or something.
I've been a bit more into Twitter as of late so feel free to message @Synoiz on there.

Well as someone pointed out, I totally failed to update this blog on Sunday. There will be news of the Cutting Edge Film Festival soon but for the moment I'm just getting excited about Halloween!
Free Shock! Horror! single still available
I can't believe it's been an entire year since the release of my single Shock! Horror! If you missed it or are just finding Synoiz now then check out the creepy horror music video by 12 FT Beast Productions by clicking on the animation to the side and click here to grab the 4-track free horror music download Shock! Horror!.
At the moment I have two main projects on the go, one is completing the main theme/intro music for a creepy game soundtrack for a publisher proposal and the other is remixing the new Erasure single "I Lose Myself" (which isn't really work as it's for a competition but it'd be amazing to get a remix on an Erasure release!).
How is everyone doing for Halloween? Looking forward to it? Costume sorted? Been out already?

Synoiz on the front page of Stereofame
Also as a nice little touch, this Monday the 21st, Synoiz will be mentioned on the home page of major music website Stereofame. A nice little honour and hopefully it'll draw a little more interest to the music and get a few new fans onboard.
Getting Safer (Behind The Scenes)
We were clearing through some old files and videos the other day and found lots of random camera vids that were taken on both the music video sets of first single "Long Lost..." and second single "Getting Safer". For a bit of a laugh we've uploaded one of these which you can view by clicking here. There's a few more so subscribe to the Synoiz channel to be updated when there's a new one available.
There's a lot more Synoiz news to mention so expect a few more newsletters in the coming days containing information on the progress of the Darkling EP, the next Synoiz album as well as the Kirsty project.
Thanks for being onboard with Synoiz.
